    This decorative door knocker & viewer is constructed of diecast materials and comes in a satin nickel finish. Its vintage design extends a total of 5-1/4 in. tall
    and features a 180 degree angle of view. This door knocker and viewer can be installed on doors from 1-3/8 in. thick to 1-3/4 in. thick, with a required 9/16 in.
    Outside diameter hole for installation of viewer. The integrated door viewer within this door knocker is designed to help keep you safe when answering your
    door and is ideal for day or night viewing with adequate exterior lighting. This door knocker & viewer is easy to install and it is used by many.

    INSTALLATION STEPS:
    1. Decide on where to position the door knocker on the front door. Position the fixture so that it is accessible at a reasonable height. The average person should be able
    to reach the door hardware.Use a level to check the position of the knocker so it will not appear crooked.
    2. Mark the door viewer position on the door with a pencil. And Drill a 9/16” outside diameter hole for installation of the viewer.
    3. Align the template, if one was included with the door hardware. Press the door knocker into place on the exterior side of the door.Make sure the hole on the knocker
    and the hole which you drilled on the door are on same line.You can see inside your door through the hole.
    4. Insert the lens piece from the hole of door knocker and through the hole which you drilled on your door. Thread the viewing scope from the inside of your door until it
    fits snugly against the lens piece. It should not be too tight, but should not move around inside the door.
    5.Adjust the door knocker and make sure it is perpendicular to the ground.Then use a screw driver to fix the installation screw on the bottom of the knocker where has
    a small hole. Make sure all hardware isfirmly tightened.
