    • The cover plate included with this “qwik-fix” kit is constructed of a stamped stainless steel, and it includes a diamond shaped slide latch (item no. 650-6596) with two keepers constructed of die cast zamak that come in a chrome plated finish. This kit is designed to repair the broken or missing “concealed latch” of a restroom partition door with surface-mounted slide latching hardware that will hide its unsightly Hole, while at the same time increasing its strength and durability. Neither the latch nor keepers are handed, allowing this kit to be mounted on both left and right-handed doors. The kit includes a strike and keeper for out-swinging doors (item no. 650-6542) and a keeper and spacer plate for in-swinging doors (item no’s. 650-6539 & 650-4036**). the square edge cover plate measures 3-5/8 in. Wide x 4 in. Tall and it is designed for use on 1 in. Thick square edge partition doors. This repair kit is easy to install and it is used by many. The fasteners provided with this set include the following: (2) 5/8 in. Barrel nuts and (2) #10-24 x 15/16 in. Shoulder screws for installation of the cover plate, (2) 1/2 in. Unslotted barrel nuts and (2) #8-32 x 1-1/16 in. Machine screws for mounting the latch to the door, and (2) 5/8 in. Barrel nuts and (2) #10-24 x 1-3/16 in. Shoulder screws for installation of the strike and keeper to the pilaster. This kit also includes t-27 and t-20 security “torx” hex bits for “tamper-proof” fastener installation. Note: if installing an outside pull (item no. 650-6644: not included in kit) to the exterior side of the diamond shaped surface-mounted slide latch, (2) #8-32 x 1-3/8 in. Machine screws (not included with this kit) will be required for installation.
