The popular Blum Compact series of concealed hinges for 3/8 IN overlay 3/4 inch face frame applications with the added feature of Blumotion soft-close. Keeps doors from slamming shut. The soft-close mechanism is integrated into the cup and there are no other parts to purchase. Hinges include pre-attached mounting dowels for insertion with a Blum machine but dowels can easily be removed and the hinges installed with wood screws. Optional cover caps sold separately From Mfr: Blum's COMPACT concealed hinge has proven itself as the high quality solution for face frame cabinets. The new BLUMOTION soft closing mechanism is integrated in the hinge cup, and continues to provide the quality of motion you have come to expect from Blum hardware. The hinge incorporates an overload feature that protects the hinge from damage if the door is slammed and maintains the BLUMOTION soft closing for the life of the hinge. The BLUMOTION function can be deactivated on one of the hinges, allowing small or light doors to close with the same high quality of motion.
